Hi,
I'm just reorganizing my courses, uninstalling / installing courses in TW06, TW07 and TW08.
For that I use the Utilities
CL Setup 06, 07 and TW Caddie.
I make a ZIP file of the courses folder content prior to install them with CL Setup, but both programs always tell me that, e.g.
"Don't know if KHC.dds is a logo, a flag. This file will be ignored."
I then press OK, courses & libraries will however be installed.
In any course folder there are such files, e.g. KHC.dds in the KHC folder of the course The K-Club etc...
Must I manually copy these files back into the new created folder of CL Setup, or do these files not matter at all?

Hi....
The KHC.dds file in TW08 stock course is the splash screen.CLsetup is expecting KHC.tga file, but in TW08 the stock courses splash screen is .dds.
IN TW06 and TW07 the stock courses had splash screen in tga format, so CLsetup installed them with no problem. But in TW08 the stock courses splash screens are .dds and CLsetup don t know what to do with it.
So when when you want to install a TW08 stock course in TW06 or TW07 with CLsetup you will not see the splash screen, but don t think that is a problem.
When you want to see the splash screens you will have to convert it from KHC.dds to KHC.tga, and after that install it with CLsetup.

Hello Gunpower,
it's very nice from you to give me all these details. Thx very much.
I don't think I need all those splash screens as they are not crucial to load and run the course. A description file (txt) is already included to avoid any misleads if need be.
I intend to play all these courses in TW08, but I must transfer all courses in TW06+tW07 in order to build a career with Career Editor. Also I have to eliminate any redundant courses (taking only the courses present in the highest version of TW and uninstalling the lower version ones). I will soon post an update to my my post "Creating a career in TW08", but I must first go in all details to see if it works.
I really hope those custom courses will also work, I'm a bit pessimistic here...
