After installing and adjusting all my programs and utilities on my new computer , I have forgotten how after selecting Online on the main TW menu....there is a way to eliminate the EA online icon so that only the LAN icon shows

This is what you can do:

Go to folder MainMenu

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Intro\MainMenu

Inside folder Mainmenu look for file: Online_Icon

Now rename the file Online_Icon: (for example rename it to: Online_Iconrenamed ).
when you renamed the file it will not show up in game.
