1) do the created players have all the same ability??
I have 6 created players at pro level (and they have all statistic at 75%) but I have the impression that some players are more easy to play and to read the green .. and 3 have .AIA file and 3 not
2) what is file .AIA in ability player?
3) do it possible cancel or reset tha statistic of created players?
thanks I play off line with my 3 friends and we want have all the golfers with the same ability

I have read this thread, but dont have found any reply to my question 2 and 3
and also at question 1 ...
continue my suspect that created player are not all with the same ability
most old created players seems have a better feeling with some shot... |

| Please let me make this as simple as possible. You have asked in the forum how to alter files within the TW 08 game and that is not allowed, they call it hacking. Discussing how to alter files in these forums is not allowed. |

| i dont think he was actually asking about hacking files,simply if all the golfers play with the same abilitys and if it is possible to set them up with differnt abilty thats all |

2) No the AIA is not abilities,
3)if all 3 of you want the same abilities, pick the same player.
- preferably create new player / chose Pro 75 % abilities, + $ 100,000 to spend.
If you chose a Game Character like Tiger, you cannot change clubs ect: |

| Asking how to MOD files is most definitely allowed on these forums....asking how to get around copyright protections is NOT allowed. Files on your computer are your property and you are free to do with them as you want, that and EA has abandoned this game so it up to the community to keep the game exciting and ever changing. |

Regardless if the software has been discontinued or not does not change the protection developer has. There is a difference between extended a software product versus modifying or disassembling this content. |

it's exaggerated
it's a game 5 years old and abandoned by eagames
advantage on line?
golf it's a game against himself.. why steal ?
would be more 'easy to use the mouse on a rail fixed :-)
I wish only know what are .aia files and why some created players have or not..
and I wish reset statistics of my created player for have in every new game : green in regulation, farway hits... |

Bini You have been miss understood now I see what you mean.
You set a game up like this dont you ?
Start Game /game mode / custom game and play against those players you created?.
Add Player /
Now yes they do have different abilities which you can Randomise with the EA interface.
added computer player/ Abilities
Each one of those Computer Players or Bots has it`s own in-game aiming device,all Games being golfing or Shooting games do, some do putt better than others,if you want to see the Bots/ computer players putt really well switch them to expert.
You can delete all of those players if you want to. |

sorry I speak little english
we are 4 friends that play off line in my home
every friend have created a different player PRO (and in the game every player have 75% of ability)
my problem is that seems that some golfer use the putt better than others (also if in the ability all have 75%) and 2 of 4 golfers have also file.Aia
seems that golfers with more holes played , play better then new golfers created
for this I make this question
not hacking

bini, if your friends are controlling the golfers in-game, then its impossible to say if one created golfer is better than another. In fact, I would say probably not, and that its a simple case of one of your friends playing better than the others.
Now, when you first create a golfer, it shows up as a HUMAN player. To find out what abilities that golfer has, start a stroke game and go into the Player Select screen where you choose the golfers you want to play against. Highlight one of the created golfers from the left side of the screen, then change him to COMPUTER. When you do that, a tab will appear that allows you to change his assigned abilities. Go into his abilities and see what they are. Also check to see if the Computer Learning box is on or off. Make sure all your created golfers have the identical abilities, then change them back to HUMAN. I dont know if that will make any difference (;it shouldnt in all honesty), but you can try it. |

| I'have eliminated all files .AIA and changed gloves payed 200 dollars and one golfer seems to be more "normal" and don't make miracolous shots... |

If so they do not need to come to your house , you can all play on-line via two easy methods both are Free and one even has Voip free.

in tw ps3 2011 there are gloves and glasses which give more feel with the game

The Tiger Woods games from 06 and 07 had clothing, balls and clubs that increased distance and accuracy. But those cheats were listed on the items when you bought them. TW 08 doesn't have that. Are saying those cheats are in the 08 game as well? If they are, I didn't know that. |

its not a cheat..
example: the ball bridgestone b330 give you more distance and you can buy it in the game, in the menu where you buy the clubs and the clothing

i don't recall those clothing etc 'cheats' in the PC game - EA did include misinformation in the manuals - only applied to console versions - no matter though
you're fine bini - yes, some balls, shafts etc produce better results depending on your swing etc |
