| Hi. I've been playing custom stroke games against Jim Faryk, at PGA Tour and Intermediate level. I'm in control of both players. First of all I discovered that I had to do the Confidence bug fix for him as well or he slows down the game. My question though, is why, when I'm shooting for the both of us, does he outdrive me (by 30-50 yards) out-chip me and basically out-play me? His tee shots even have a different sound to them when he connects with the ball. His have a 'whoosh' sound and mine have more of a 'tink' sound. Is my past play coming back to haunt me or something? The game will choose a driver for me and a 4 wood for him on the same hole. I've got most of the trophys a guy can get and have $24 million in the bank, so I've been playing a while, but this has got me baffled. Any way to check his equipment and attributes, or increse mine, or should I just smack him in the knee with my driver? |

Hi.....
When you play with one of the Pro players (; for example tiger woods ), you will have more skills in PGA tour mode.
When you create a player and you are using this player in PGA tour mode, you will start as an amateur and your skills will be very low.
You can build up the skills of your created player in: Tiger challenge mode
Play the tiger challenges, In the game, use the points you win playing those to build up your attributies. (; EAsports gameface.......Attributes )
When you build up your skills in Tiger challenge mode, your player will play much better in PGA tour. |

Create new Player !! if you chose Amature ,like gunpower says , you Attributes will be zero until you advance in the Off-line tournaments.
Now!, if on creating a new Player you chose Pro << your Attributes will be auto set at 75% and you will have $100.000 to spend on new stuff . clubs , balls , ect.
Attributes at 75% are good enough for on-line play.
If you chose to go the hard way playing all off line tournies and the Tiger Challenge then we have all done that , but on the Tiger Challenge theres an easier way to beat the system so to speack.
For example, if your on the Tiger Challenge and have to hit a LONG ----> drive, switch to a 2 click swing , power shot,Cowabunga = job done, same goes for eagle 3 holes and so on.
i suggest create player , chose Pro, and play on, www.gameranger.com , easy to use GUI interface and lots of players all levels all swing types.

Sorry i forgot to say , all the off-line tournies you have won / birdies, eagles ect:build up attributes , so you have to go to the EA sports game face / Attributes < and add all the attributes you have gained via the sliders |
