Gday there,
I was looking to use the terrain assist program to design some local courses from good old NZ. So I downloaded the file from the TW08 utilities section and when I try to run the program, windows gives an error saying terrain assist had to close.
Is there something I have to do to get it to work? and if not can someone check that the download isn't corrupt.

Hi...
When you downloaded the zipfile, you have to unzip or extract the zipfile first.
Now you will see a new created folder: Terrain assist
Inside dubble click: terrain assist.exe (; application file ), it should work this way.
Note: I tried the file and it works for me. |

Hi...
That was the exact steps I followed. I just tried it on my Windows 7 machine and it works fine, however Course Architect doesn't work on my Windows 7 machine but it does on my XP machine (which is where Terrain Assist doesn't work) so it looks like I'll just have to keep switching between the two machines.

Hi...
Yes course architect is not working very well on win7 or Vista.
You will have to use XP to compile your course with Course architect. |
