| Why when playing a round against a cpu player the game always gets sluggish and jerky around the 13th or 14th hole and then goes away on the 15th hole? |

Hi Tom....
When you start playing TW08 game, it is important to know there is a bug in the game:
When you played some courses you will see the loading times between holes are increasing, the game will become slower and slower.
Do next steps to solve the problem:
On desktop you will see folder: My documents........
inside look for: Tiger woods PGA tour 2008....and inside go to folder: Career.
Inside Career go to folder: Players.......and look for your playersname folder.
Inside playersname folder you will see folder: Confidence.....and here you will find files:
Hole Type.tcn......and.....Shot type.tcn
Now right click both files (; hole.tcn +Shot type.tcn) and delete both files.
When you did this: restart TW08 game and play 1 hole on any stock course and close TW08 game.
Go back to same confidence folder and you will see both files are regenerated: but now they are very small size (; 85kb or something like that) Now right click both files (; Type.tcn......and.....Shot type.tcn) and choose : Properties....and check box: READ ONLY. Do this for both files.
(; Note: not sure but maybe you will have to do the same thing for the CPU players you are playing against ) |

| Yea I've done that trick and it made the game run great. And when I play tourneys in the game I don't have any problems. It's only when I play a CPU player and it always happens on the 13 or 14th hole. Weird. Maybe something to do with created courses. I usually bogey or double bogey when it happens. Keeps the match close. Funny |

Hi, Tom there couple of things you can check, one is what back round programs are running and check to see if your video card is running warm. You can find many programs the let you know what temperature you are running at , that is the easy one as for programs running in the back round that will be a little harder, I always check my running processes you may wanna try that. If there is anything you are not sure about just drop a line.
