| Have found a problem with the architect database that is resulting in a lot of courses not showing, including Windsor Park. Hope to have a fix for that soon. Thanks for noticing the missing course. |

More than one missing course maybe since in the 08 section there is supposed to be 985 courses but if you add all the courses together that are there you get 946 so it seems that there are 39 courses no showing :(

Same for the 07 section too. There is supposed to be 280 courses but only 206 are showing so there is 74 not showing :(

have run across 4 libs that apear are miss named or something they will no topen with the caddie they are 147.rr 147 champ 156 southernhills?may b pano not sure and 447 bigwaters? something there the only 1s i have found and i have them all that don't work. or at least that are showing for download thnx guys your doing a great job for the community or tw golf

| I just installed TW2008 new install and then installed the Caddie 08 64 bit Vista edition. When I open it, it doesn't see any of my installation of TW08 at all. Any ideas if I'm missing something? |

On win8 you have to run TWCaddie08 as administrator to see the installed libraries and courses.
you probably forgot to run TWCaddie08 as administrator.
Also be sure to install the correct version of TWCaddie08 ( 32bit or 64 bit version )
Just follow the instructions below:
On Win8 you will have to run TWCaddie08 as administrator, and be sure to use the correct version of TWCaddie08 ( 32bit or 64bit ).
Just follow the steps below.
How can you find out you have a 32 bit or 64 bit system:
First of all you have to go to your control panel in Win8:On your desktop on bottom left corner click the Start icon.
This will bring you to the start screen.
Now on your keyboard just type the text: Control panel
Now on top right side side just below the typing box you will see the results it found for: Control panel.
Now click the result on top and you will go in the control panel.
1.Touch or click on System and Security within Control Panel.
Note: You wont see a System and Security link in Control Panel if your view is set to either Large icons or Small icons. If so, find System and touch or click on it, then skip to Step 3.
2.With the System and Security window now open, click or touch System.
3.With the System applet now open, titled View basic information about your computer, find the System area, located under the large Windows 8 logo.
The System type will say either 64-bit Operating System or 32-bit Operating System.
When you found out go to TWCaddie08 download page on link below:
http://www.coursedownloads.com/extras/category.asp?id=1&gameid=11
( or go to section Utilities....Utilities and files for TW08....Course installation tools )
On that page you will see 2 download links:
when you have win8 32bit.... download this one:
TW Caddie 08 v1.5
when you have win8 64bit... download this one:
TW Caddie 08 x64 Beta
You also will have to run TWCaddie08 as administrator:
On desktop right click the TWCaddie08 icon.....choose: Properties....compatibility...and check box: Run as administrator...and click: Apply
Option: When you don t have the icon on your desktop, you can also go to: C:\Program Files\CourseDownloads.com\TW Caddie 08 - Vista 64
And you can do the administrator thing on the TWCaddie08 icon you will find there.
( On your desktop on bottom in taskbar you should have an icon: Explorer. )
( Dubble click explorer icon and go to: C:\Program Files\CourseDownloads.com\TW Caddie 08 - Vista 64 )
To put an icon on your desktop: go to: C:\Program Files\CourseDownloads.com\TW Caddie 08 - Vista 64
( On your desktop on bottom in taskbar you should have an icon: Explorer. )
( Dubble click explorer icon and go to: C:\Program Files\CourseDownloads.com\TW Caddie 08 - Vista 64 )
Now inside the folder (TW Caddie 08 - Vista 64) you will find the icon to start TWCaddie08
Go to the blue TWCaddie08 icon and right click it, and in list choose: Copy to....and in next list choose: Desktop (create shortcut)
After that you will find the TWCaddie08 icon on your desktop.
On desktop right click the TWCaddie08 icon.....choose: Properties....compatibility...and check box: Run as administrator...and click: Apply |
