alright here goes .. Im haveing one hell ova time installing tw 08 again ( i took it off ) . Now when the auto run starts it asks for the directory ( which is not the problem ) after i select it it opens my browser and takes me to the register your game page with ea. thats not all of the problem my virus program detects a trojan horse in my disk drive while the disk is in it . heres the trojan name "trojanhorseclicker.AJMF and its found in F:CommonEASO\EASOinstall.exe (F is my dvd drive ) any help on this anyone would be appreciated

sounds like you have a resident trojan, nothing to do with TW install, but you need to get rid of it obviously

I have yet to find anything on the trojan my virus scanner says i have when I try to install the game . its funny because as far as i can tell its on the cd , how the hell did that happen ? check my original post ... its still doing the same thing

In Carn post you can see link to malwarebytes. It is very good program, just install the program and after that let it scan your PC, it will find the viruses.
You can download the program on link below:

thanks gunpower but i cant find anything on mine it tells how to get ride of specific ones . i followed the steps from the link you gave me but its not the one i have . i have searched and searched for mine but i cant find anything on it . and its funny cause it only shows up in my resident shield when the cd is in

I did find this out about it and thats why during the install it opens my browser and connects to ea sports register you game page .

NAME: Trojan-Clicker
ALIAS: Trojan Clicker, Trojan-Clicker

Have you tried downloading and installing Superantispyware. I use the free version, and find it extremely effective........ it finds things that my other anti-virus programs miss.....

i have try everything and about to just wipe the harddrive and format it to get rid of this virus. I have try every malware, anti-virus program, it will say it got it and remove it but its still there, even keeps you from updating Windows, just get an error message.
