Fairly new to this great and addictive game (great site and forum too) but I may be missing something.

I have no problem playing alongside other computer players on custom games but this does not seem possible in career mode. Even in playoffs the other golfer is always absent and just posts a score.

With Links and PGA2000 this was not an issue.

Am I indeed missing something?

You will see them if you are playing a skins tournament, or team cup events, but not in stroke play.

Thanks for the reply,

Seems strange to miss that from the gameplay as it adds a lot to the realism and excitement... The skins/knock-out games are great fun..and gameplay is very fast without any delay with redraw.

Oh well.
