Well, I like your enthusiasm, but that approach never, ever solves anything other than to make you bored. It's like telling a big drinker to boycott his favorite booze because the price goes up. He doesn't buy it, but he really, really misses drinking it. It's not a good trade-off.

Plus as much as I hate EA Sports and everything they stand for now and the most ridiculous arcade game ever (;TWO10), the time to boycott would have been after there was no TW09, about a year or so ago.

Good idea though. I would have been with you at that time. Ill never pay one red cent for TW010 if it makes you feel better, even if they do upgrade it. The fact they would release an unfinished product in the first place speaks volumes about what theyre made of (;or more importantly what they think were made of). But this kind of stuff has been said to death already.

Plus, if you're going to boycott ALL EA Games, then that means you'll have to give up on 08 also. I have a feeling that as time passes, alot of people will either give up on TW Golf or will migrate to TWO. I realize that there are some other sites that are considering running 08 on their own servers and such, and I applaud them for that, but each day that passes without that happening just means more people will forget about 08. I am as guilty as anyone with this. Personally, I don't like TWO, but I have found myself playing it on occassion. I haven't purchased it, have been playing off the demo, but I have checkeed into buying it just because there is nothing else out there at the moment. I do however continiue to download courses from this site for 08 simply because some of the architects here are artists and I very much enjoy playing their creations.
