Just the EASO version, and they stole all of my tokens I was saving for my virtual vacation, lol. There are many alternatives in the works and TW08 online should live on for a long time. Just keep checking the forum here and on the PGAX website. |

kind of spamming a bit because this is the third time ive posted this...but..
Dont know why no -one realizes this-- apologies if its been posted already :
you can still play online through the game---you dont need xfire/game ranger ect ect... select 1-play online../2- LAN/(not the easo) the host gives the other players his/her ip--- 3-they connect through IP. not LAN (there are 2 choices) type in the host ip in the empty box near bottom.
do not try to connect to the host until he has the game set up--- course and pin/conditions etc.. once its set up- you can connect.. you will find yourself in a lobby type room and you will see the host name on the right side.... {click} on the hosts name to highlight it... join... then you can chat until everyone else is in- then the host launches....
this takes basic computer internet skills... if you have 3 other ppl you enjoy golfing with-- one of those people surely will be able to figure out how to host. This works- Ive done it many times... only thing that will make it tough to connect is if you dont know how to get around your firewall- you can make an exception rule for the game...or open a port..
if you want to know your ip for hosting goto: whatismyip.com |

Tharn, that has been discussed on this site, not just recently but for years. And now there is Hamachi and GameRanger out to help as well. Thanks for the reminder. |
