After seeing many posts recently,I would like to bring to the attention of those that may not already know that PGAX will not be closing down and is infact expanding to include an equally accurate European Tour to its schedule in the very near future.
We operate a fair and well run handicap system which allows you to compete while still coming to grips with expert level play.
The European Tour will be an expert level Tour run on exactly the same lines as the PGAX UStour.
As someone new to expert level golf I can understand how ludicrously hard this level of play can be when first trying it and I think this puts a lot of people off.I played advanced for many years before making the change.I really struggled with green reading more than anything else at first but now Im getting the hang of it I can honestly say the game has never held more appeal for me than it does now. The whole experiance is much more realistic and enjoyable playing expert and I would urge people to challenge themselves and give it a go.
This being said there is a lot of hard work being done by some very tallented and commited people to offer a platform for all levels of play with both competitive tournaments for intermediate through to Expert levels and friendly matchup lobby also in the near future
We feel very passionate about the survival of a TW08 community and would urge all those who love the game come take a look at what we are planning or even better join us at PGAX as we venture into these exciting new times.

| I might add that Jimbo has said that other levels ( other than expert ) will be accommodated sometime in the near future........ for now, they are concentrating on keeping the expert Tour going. Anybody interested might pay a visit to www.pgax.com |

At the time of posting this, the near future that Otto refers to is "near". Although we are unable to commit to an actual timeline, it does look hopeful that skill levels other than Expert could be accommodated as early as the end of May....less than 3 weeks post EA shutdown. It may be sooner and of course, it could be a little later but we wanted to just let people know what "the near future" means in reference to PGAX taking on other skill levels.
