I made a contribution on Feb. 26th, 2010. Receipt # 1126-8997-0069-4740, so why is my download NOT 300MB as it was before? Are we supposed to contribute every couple of months. What gives? Please look up the receipt and make sure my download size is 300MB as it has been. Thank you.

Hi Mungo...
Your Myzip is 300 mb now, site owner or other administrator already increased it. |

The 300MB was because I made another contribution, not because of my e-mail. How often are we supposed to contribute? I thought it was a one time thing. |

I also had the same situation happen to me. I contributed on 3/2/2010 and when this newest drive started I was cut back to 1MB when I had 300. I have sent 3 PM's and only one was answered promptly, ty Sir jarvis, however he could not solve the problem. And myzip file has still not been increased. I sent 2 other PM's too, 1.TruBlu, and 2. Rob. Never got a response. I realize with the announcement of the servers goin down TruBlu and Rob may be busy, however it only takes a minute to post in forum so people will not misinterpret what is happening. Thanks.

I have not contributed during this drive, yet. I find that I'm no longer able to d'l even a single library.........BigsBridges & Boats in particular. Has the site gone completely to "pay to play"? |

Are you clicking on the library name itself or are you trying to create a MyZip with just the library in it? The MyZip's haven't been raised back up yet since Tru handles those sitewide adjustments and he hasn't been on in a few days. If you click on the library name itself the file should download just fine. No changes were made during the donation drive to prevent people from downloading files individually, just to the MyZip feature. |

Jeff, here's the sequence of events:
Click on the libraries link on the main page
Taken to the first page of libraries ... using the search feature doesn't work for me........ even copying and pasting the name from the listing when I finally do find it ( I beleive Will created it for the 05 version.... it doesn't work no matter what year I enter, or even the "all" option).
Scroll through the pages of libraries to find the library
Click on the library name
Takes me to a page with "click here to download this library" in bold yellow, sandwiching the "top 10 downloaded courses"
Clicking on the bold yellow banner takes me to a page with a bold yellow banner advising me to "click her to increase my download limit to 300MB and activate your shoutbox", with the course listings by year appearing below that (Additional Golf Courses for Tiger Woods 2008,etc).
I've tried Firefox 3.5.5 ( my primary browser ) , and Google Chrome..
any insights as per why this happens? |

Im not sure I am following exactly how you are trying to get the library and Im certainly not sure why you are seeing what you are seeing. Try this:
In Firefox, log out of the site. Go in and clear the cookies specific to coursedownloads.com (;Tools...Options...Privacy, select Use Custom Settings for History...Show Cookies...find the listing for coursedownloads.com...highlight and press delete). Once you have done this, come back to the site and log in again. The only thing I can think of is that your old cookie has information from prior to the donation period that is causing a problem.
The way I would get the library would be this:
1) On the main page on the left side, click on Libraries. 2) In the Search for Library area, type in the first few letters of the library, like BIG. Dont try typing the whole name. The first few letters should filter the list down good enough to find what you are looking for. I am seeing the library you mentioned on page 3 of the list after doing that search. It is a 2k6 library. 3) Click on the library name. You are taken to the library page. 4) Click on the link that says, Click Here to Download `Library Name` 5) Your library should begin downloading.
I just went through the steps above on that library and it downloaded without a problem. Please let me know if either of these instructions helps or if you still have problems downloading. |

Yep,.. worked for Davy and JJ last night just fine, too.
Thanks, Jeff, I'll try deleting the cookies, and relogging in..
Meanwhile, I worked around the issue by going to the HarbourTown DL , creating a myzip file with just the lib, and it dl without a problem......... go figure...
