While I am happy to do my bit and chip in (as I always do). I kindoff resent the fact that all those people who don't will still have their zipfile size increased. 60mb/30mb makes no real difference. Why not leave it at 1MB for those people who choose not to help.

Thge main goal of this site is to promote Tiger Woods Golf, if we restrict the size to low, then new users will be turned off by how difficult it can be to install courses with the use of the myZIP feature the site offers. I understand the frustration some of you feel, but in terms of those who donate MOST users who donate have been members less than 6 months.

Gentlemen,

I am sorry, but I cannot allow Munroco’s comments to pass without reply.

Firstly, let me give you a little personal background …
Due to illness I am no longer able to play, for real, the game I love.

Computerised simulation in the form of TW08 provides some form of alternative. The pleasure that it brings has been further enhanced by the great courses that are available for download from this site, and I would have no hesitation of including those produced by Munroco.

Due to this illness I am sadly obliged to survive on incapacity benefit. Which, as a fellow Scottish citizen Munroco, sir, you should have an understanding of what that implies.

This, let me assure all, does not leave one with spare funds. If I could pay for the pleasure CourseDownloads provides, then I would.
So, suitably embaraced, I have to rely on the generosity and goodness of others to keep this site going.

I am sorry if Munroco resents this situation.
If he feels that I, and those such as myself should be punished for non-payment, with an unworkable 1Mb download, so be it.

All I can say to that is - Thanks and Goodbye

Many apologies Pegasus, people in your situation were not the object of my post. I do know incapacity benefit well, having been on it for the past few years and I do know that money is tight. My post (admittedly I should have stated this) was targetted at the many people who use this site and who are perfectly able but unwilling to contribute towards the running costs.

Again my apologies. Tell me which course you'd like to see done here (famous or otherwise) and I'll do my best to create it for you to make up for any offense caused.

Cheers

Neil

Munroco,

Neil

Thank you for your kind and considerate reply.

Perhaps I too should apologise for being somewhat thin skinned and quick to react. I should have realised you were not directing your initial comments directly at me or those in similar circumstances.

Your very kind offer is gratefully noted, but all that I would ask of you is that you continue to use those fine creative skills of yours in producing courses for us all to enjoy.

I note from another post that certain elements are causing upset by their negative feed-back. Like many others, perhaps I have been slow to offer positive feedback on your work.
To you, and the other course designers, please believe me when I say your work brings a great deal of pleasure to us all.

Regards
John
