My TW2008 seems a little messed up right now, having gone into a kind of "fast play" mode apparently all by itself. There's no view of the ball sailing down the fairway (or wherever else I hit it for that matter)- strike the ball and it instantly appears at its resting point and my player almost instantly appears at the same place ready to play the next shot. This started happening yesterday (Tue 6th) having not played since an online round last Saturday.

Camera view is on "auto-cam". Over the last few weeks I've removed the shot reaction motions as they get a little tedious but I can't think of any other changes I've made that could have brought about this problem. I can still view my shot using the "instant replay" option. Changing the "allow ready play" settings has no effect. Everything else appears normal.

Is it my settings that have been corrupted somehow? I've not been able to find anything in the "options" menus that looks likely to change things back to how they were.

Any ideas much appreciated.

The easiest thing to try might be a "System Restore" to before the problem started.
