I've got TW2005 and made a few courses for it but I'm now looking at the galleries for the 08 courses here and started salivating!

I want to get 08 but at the same time I want to make some courses for it.
Do I HAVE to have 06 and it's CA or will 05's still work?

I'm sure I read here that the 06 CA manual is the same as 05 which has made me wonder if there is no difference between the two behind the scenes.
And if so would it work to make 08 courses with the correct (ie 08) libraries?

The 05 CA will work to design your courses for TW08. You need 08 for the libraries. You can use the CL tool 05 and CL Setup in the 05 Utilities section on the site to load the 08 libraries into 05. I would cloak the 05 libraries with the CL Tool and just use 08 stock and custom libraries. Keep the libraries around 30 in the CA and it should not crash. Good luck with your designs and look forward to your courses.

You will have to load the tcr file into the 08 course folder, Ca will not load file for you.
