Hello all, My buddy and I want to setup Direct ip play but we are having no luck connecting. We both get the error about the ip address is not hosting a game, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to do IP-IP games is to use a program called Hamachi to set up a VPN between you and the other player(;s). I did a tutorial a while back on how to do this. You can find the tutorial here:

The Hamachi program was bought out by another company and rebranded a bit from when I did the tutorial. So when you download and install Hamachi the screens may look a bit different than what is in the tutorial, but for the most part the tutorial still holds up. It is by far the easiest way to play IP-IP games with TW. I believe the info that is on the last page is no longer valid (;the feature was removed from Hamachi when it was redone), but I dont believe it is necessary any longer.
