Hi all,
I recently had the great plaesure of having my computer crash, and had to do a "system recovery" in order to get it up and running again and of course, I had nothing backed up (lesson learned!) In the process, I lost quite a bit of stuff. Had to reload TW 08 and TW Caddy 08. While searching through files to see what exactly what I lost, I came across all of the course and library files that I had downloaded over time. Some of the great folks here at CourseDownloads ( Thanks Gun!!!) gave me tips on how to reload all of the courses and files back into the game. Slowly but surely, I'm getting that all taken care of. During my searches, in My Documents/ Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08/ Career/ Players, I found a folder with my player name on it. My question.... is there any way that I can put my player back into the TW08 game? If so, any detailed instructions on how to do so would be GREATLY appreciated!!! I really don't want to have to go back through and play my way back. Thanks in advance!!! |

| Never mind, this folder I found was from after the reinstall of 08. Looks like I got some playing ahead of me. |

It does not take to long playing the Tiger Challenges to get your
attributies back up so you can compete online. Besides they are
kind of fun...much better than the grind needed for 07...ouch !!!

If you have the old folder Documents \ Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 with your player it is easy.
In the new reinstalled game, play one hole on any course. After this, exit the game aand copy the old folder Tiger Woods PGA T.. over the folder in Documents \ Tiger Woods....
I think if you copy just a player folder, to the right place, will works too...
On the next time you play, your player will be recovered, like a magic, with all clothes, clubs and all...lol

I think if you reinstall your Windows from a recovery point you have a great chance your player are recovered too.
When you install TW08, was created a folder in Documents\Tiger woods.....
If your player is there, try in the game change profile and look for your player.
If not found, save the folder of your player and try my first instructions, copying just the player folder.
