.....if the wind is blowing 35 MPH (like it is now where I am at) and it is snowing (like it is here right now) - how does the snow ever hit the ground where the wind is blowing?
Looks like our -real-life- golfers are out of business for awhile (well maybe - LOL - we have some really -committed- golfers here - or maybe they should be -committed-). |

LOL - I haven't been able to play the -real- game for several years, but for sure I wouldn't be out there now even if I could. It is however, NOT unusual, even in these conditions, to drive by one of the courses around here and see a few -persistent- (for lack of a better, nicer word) folks out there hitting golf ball around the course. |

No, but I've often wondered why nobody has invented heated sidewalks. Because then I wouldn't have to care or think about snow hitting the ground. ;)

I don't remember where exactly it was, but I recently saw a news item concerning that very subject. There are a couple cities in the USA that actually have that very thing - heated sidewalks (in one of those locations they actually have heating rods underneath several roads as well).
