Hey dietpepsi, good handle..lol

First place I would start at is, does the custom course you are not seeing life on, have a CLS folder in it?

I don't know about win7 but think this is a good first question..:)

Hi Axe360 I have most of your courses. Yes most of the courses that are homemade have cls folder. I just hate it when things do not work right lol. Thanks for your help

Actually though Diet, most course don't have a cls or should I say a fair number do not.
I even forgot to put one in on my last course. BTW thank you for downloading my courses:)

Now, 2nd thing, do you have your course life system turned up in the Options?

I have a dual-boot Drive with Xp on one half and Windows 7 on the other half. I have been slowly testing the Windows 7 before finally changing over to it. I have just loaded axe360's La Grange course and played the first few holes and there is course life showing. If you play this course are you not seeing any birds flying across in the distance and on the second hole are there no lily pads in the ponds. Are you maybe presuming that you should see more course life?

Just another thought that maybe the beta versions of Windows 7 don't have the same functionality as the released OS on disk.

Sorry when you mentioned 9.10 I thought you were using a beta version. Have you got Win7 Professional, if so you could play TW2008 in XP mode as a virtual machine. I can't think of anything else that may be causing your problem. Hope you solve it.

I have the same problem, course life on all stock courses, but nothing on customs, as axe said...still the same, hope you figure it out...

The only thing that has worked for me in the past was to make a new course folder from the cls folder....

With the cls folder, drop the course, splash, flag, text, and logo into that folder also... Then change the folder name to the actual course name, and I had the course life for a couple of games....then gone again.... (;seems like it changed at reboot)...

Check the installation path of your custom courses. If it is not the standard courses directory inside of the game folder the Course Life System will not work.
