How do you get rid of a library that was in use but is no longer in use????? I dont want my library list any longer than has to be. This is referring to the course properties. |

CLTool
Projects tab Start a new project with your current tca file... name/navigate to file
Double-click on the new project... This will give you a list of all libraries used in your course... *stickys are the ones your after I believe... :) anything with * beside it is a sticky and can be removed with the Fix sticky button, just select a new name..(;usually just add sticky to the end of mine...)
Then open up your new course file in CA, and they should be gone....
:)
Oh...and FYI, you cannot have the CA open with any of the other tools, CLTool, CLSetup... as you will get an error... :)
>EDIT< if this is 04, like your other post shows...I am not sure if the layout of the tool is the same, as I have not ever used it... but here is the link http://www.coursedownloads.com/extras/details.asp?id=50 |

The 2004 version cl is different than 2006. But I did as you told me with the 2006 and it removed 2 library. This was done on a 2004 file and it still worked just fine. Should I take it that Cl 2006 will install 2004 files and should I get rid of Cl 2004???
THANK YOU fED IT WORK LIKE A CHARM.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Good deal... :) Glad it did the trick for you...
If it functions well with the CLTool 06 in 04..., I wouldn't see that it would hurt to use it, but since I really know nothing about 04, it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion on that... :)
Maybe someone a little more familiar with "the bigger plan" could share some insight here... |
