I have searched in the forum to see if there is any advice on putters. I have seen topics about grid lines etc. but is there a particular putter that would make life on the greens any easier? Sometimes I can putt and sometimes I can't. Actually MOST times I can't. I have tried 2-3 putters but really see no difference. Are any of the putters any better, or is it just a matter of finding one that suits? My shed in the back yard would appreciate any help you can give me on the subject, that way I will quit beatin the "shed" out of it! hehe
Thanks, Tommy |

Im not 100% here, but I believe they are pretty much all the same... I, however, use the Odyssey XG7...(;Mainly because it doubles as a weapon).... :D
Probably the biggest difference for me was making the putting grid white... |

| I have noticed that some of the putters seem to have a more lively acceleration off the face, but I think that's all relative and all about what you are used to. I think virtual putting is a lot like real putting. It's all in you ability to read, and tons of practice. Play in practice mode and use some real-life drills where you can. Track your tendencies to over or underestimate breaks and adjust accordingly. |
