This girl has a slight problem....
I can get TW08 to play on Win7 x64, but after I go into the game itself to select what game I wish to play and then the actual round I have trouble. The "hand" and other cursors tend to blink and/ or disappear. At times, I have trouble knowing where the cursor actually is and what I may be clicking. I am sure it is a video issue of some sort due to a setting on the game, but I don't know what setting to change to get it to show correctly. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

Possibly a video card issue? What kind is it?

Go to the WFGA site there is an answer about playing TW 08
on Windows 7 in the Forums area

desktop and clicking properties and checking compatablity mode.

I had the same problem a long time ago. I don't really remember the solution, but have you tried changing the cursor speed?

It is an Nvidia GeForce 7200GS, I am running it on Windows 7 with it being set to be XP SP2 Compatible. I have not changed cursor speed, but may try that. Also, game plays well under 7 x64, just that flickering of the cursor and trying to find it at times. have an AMD Athlon64 3200+ with 1 GB RAM and actual Nvidia drivers for 7 x64. Thanks for the help so far. I'll see what I can do.

If you turn on hardware acceleration, cursor flickering will go away. No, that setting is not in the NVidia control panel. It should be, and I cannot understand what possessed them to omit that control.

Here’s the step-by-step instructions for enabling this setting:

1. Right-click on your desktop and click Properties.
2. Select the Settings tab.
3. Click the Advanced button.
4. Select the Troubleshoot tab.
5. Push the slider labeled “Hardware Acceleration” to Full (;my slider was one tick away).
6. Click OK on the Advanced window and the Properties window.
7. Reopen your game and the cursor should be back to normal.
