Hello my friends and I played Tiger every week online, we play at novice level but is there anyway to patch game so that the lie of the land affects the shot? and putting more like intermediate or does this require changing game code?

The higher the difficulty level, the greater the lie affects, I believe. So you'd have to raise the difficulty higher than Rookie to see an improvement. And no file edits to fix that, that I know of anyway.

If you want to make putting tougher, play with the grid off. Only turn the grid on once you're on the green. Read the putt, then shut it off before you hit the ball. Also, I play with the grid off. I read the green by moving the green elevation/yardage marker back and forth over the green.
