Good Morning:
Yesterday I tried to download the new East Lake PGAX version. I followed the intructions and removed the older one before downloading the new one.
My problem is I screwed something up and can no longer play many of the coarses I've downloaded. I keep getting messages telling files for East Lake are missing. I've used the TW 08 caddie to attempt to correct the problem, I've tried to reinstall the old version of East Lake to get the East Lake files back but nothing works.
I've gone into the library section for missing files but everytime I attempt to download any files for any version of East Lake, I'm told I have the files, even though I've removed them. And, when I use the caddie, it still shows I have East Lake even though I can't play the coarse or remove it from the coarse list in the caddie. What have done?

| If you haven't already done this.. it's a good place to start. Open TW Caddie 08, select: Options/CourseDownloads.com/Sync My Libraries, Enter Your PASSWORD & start. Next, click on: File & Analyse Installed Files. This is going to tell you the 'issues' you have. good luck.. ed |

Thank you. Tried that with no results. Seems I've missed something up. I can't play any of the coarses which use the East Lake stuff. I presume the only opition I have is to uninstall the complete TW 08 game and all coarses and re-install and start from scratch.

Not sure but maybe you removed the stock east lakes lib on accident, what your supposed to do is this. Download the custom East Lakes course, then remove that custom lib and replace it with the low end lib. Im thinking maybe you accidentally removed the Stock East Lake Lib?
If so, you may have to reinstall, but I would wait a little while longer and maybe Gunpower61 knows something different..

Hi....
Yes you probably deleted stock library East lake (;eas.tcl ).
No big problem:
Go to your TW08 DVD drive.....and right click ....and choose: browse (; or dubble click DVD drive ).
on TW08 DVD you will see folder: Courses
Inside courses folder you will see folder: EAS
Inside folder EAS you will find library: eas (;58.397kb)
now right click the library (;eas )and choose: Copy
go to your desktop...right click desktop....and choose paste
Now you will see the library (;eas ) on your desktop.
after that install the library (;eas ) in TW08 with TWCaddie08, same way you install other libraries.
(;Note: no need to zip the library eas.tcl, TWCaddie can install the library file when it is not zipped ) |
