When hosting a LAN game between friends, how do you keep your IP address in the IP address block so it'll never go away? So this avoids you from having to keep typing in your IP every time you host, i've tried everything & can't get the IP to stay, i did before, but can't remember what i did to keep the IP the same when i'm hosting???

If it's such a simple task as you say, you might just want to figure it out yourself then?

I don't know that many people who play LAN. Most play on EASO while others use Direct IP or Hamachi or other similar programs.

When you're hosting the game you won't have to put your IP address into that field, it's optained automatically. The only time you'll need to enter an IP address would be if you're joining a game that you're not hosting. Typing into that field isn't and option when you're the one hosting the game.

i just suggest you have a round with your buddy through TW LAN community site for your LAN/IP play

http://tigerwoods.co.nr

TW LAN community offers every facility for LAN and IP play for TW
you dont need to check and remember any IP adress include host and client
just visit there and just click Lables that prepared Hamachi channels for TW LAN play
when you in same channel with your buddy u guys can just play through both of LAN/IP
without need any IP adress

Acutally, LAN an IP play totally same system in TW

Not really, because from what i understand, you do not have to put in a IP when hosting a LAN game "but" you do need to put in your host IP if your hosting a direct IP game, and this is what i need to know, "how to put in your IP when hosting a direct IP game" where it will stay there so you don't have to type it in over & over again everytime you host a direct IP game.

When you're hosting a direct IP to IP game there is no option to enter an IP address, the only one that needs to enter your IP address is the person that is joining the game and not hosting it. When you select Direct IP games and Host the IP address box is grayed out and you can't enter anything into it.

I understand the hints & suggestions from the 2 previous posts, and appreciate those mentioned, "but" as we have been playing mostly IP to IP for heck like 7 or 8 yrs now this is the format we are used to, so i guess you could say were comfortable with this method & hence the old saying "can't teach an old dog new tricks" as a cpl of the guys i play TW08 with are old-timers & I KNOW i'm not going to be able to change the methods that there used to playing as there set in there ways. So, how do you put your IP in when hosting a direct IP game so it will stay there without you having to retype it every single time you host???

Well whether it was by some strange instance or whatever, but i remember it happening b4 to me (where once i was able to get my IP entered in-it would stay there without me having to continously type it in each time) I don't know how or can't remember how i did do it, as i have tried everything, but i've done it b4, but i just can't remember how i accomplished this???
