My preferred camera view is ball cam - I like to view the whole scene as the ball travels. On nearly all courses, the drawback of this is that when following the ball at full elevation, you get an area between pano and foreground that doesn't match (it rises to reveal mismatched area and falls back to ground level of course).
I've just played Ron717's 'Calico Creek' in TW2008 and this course has the best pano I've seen for this - it blends perfectly with the foreground.
My question is this : is it technically dissicult to achieve a nice blend as Ron has? I've downloaded some great courses only for (as an example) the view of the ocean to be spoiled by mismatching sea textures - sometimes just a plain grey area between the pano and foreground.
Sorry if that's garbled, I'm sure you get the drift! Any thoughts appreciated.

Hiya Nork...
Ron717 makes his own panos therefore they are custom built for that particular course. He can adjust that pano to fit perfect. Most of us dont make our own, so we cannot make them fit perfectly to our courses.
To daunting a task for me to take on. Big thumbs up to the ones who make there own. If it wasnt for them, we other designers would have nothing to use.
:)

| Sounds fair enough Axe. I'm eternally grateful for all the design work folk have done on these courses - incredible talent and given freely. |
