| Hey, I reinstall tw08 on my computer and wanted to reset my arnold palmer stats, for offline play, but when i added him to my players i still had my old stats, is there anyway i can clear them to a fresh stats? All other players of the game were reset. |

| I'm not understanding you. Is Arnold Palmer your created player? And you want to clear your created player's stats? If so, the only way is to delete the player and associated files and re-create him. |

| Arnold Palmer is a customer golfer i download off the site, but each time i delete him and reinstalled the stats always comes back as before |

I'm not at the CPU that I have the game installed, so I'm not sure how accurate this is:
Look in My Documents / TW 08 / Career / Players. There should be both a file and a folder named *Arnold Palmer* than needs to be deleted. Now, there should be one other file named *Arnold Palmer* that needs to be deleted as well, and I think it's in a folder called Ability, located in My Documents / TW 08. Try that. |

| i want to at least thank you for your reply bangus...but you know i deleted all those file and went and did a file/folder search through windows and found as many as 10 files on all the custom golfers i downloaded, and deleted every one of them and i'll be darn if the same stats came back when i reinstalled my custom golfer Arnold palmer. I also install couple other like Jack Nicklaus and serigo and they always install with the old stats. Must be a saved folder in windows that is not label as the custom golfers name....thanks again rob |

| No problem rob. Thats a weird issue youre having. Ive been creating/editing golfer files for Tiger Woods games for years, and Ive never had an issue like that, or even heard of anyone who has. Tell me: when you say the stats wont clear, where are you looking? Can you give me specific directions as to where to view these player stats? Thanks. |

| yes, I'm only a offline golfer, and like to use custom arnold palmer golfer as my guy. After the game starts and at main menu, i go to resume, overall player stats. When i select arnold as the player at the top his stats show up as the same as before. I can uninstall him and all the files, download him again into a different folder and install into the game, and he will show up the the same old stats again. I uninstalled the game, and then i restalled it, and try different custom golfers that i have download before off the site, and each custom golfer that i reinstall into the game keeps showing all the old stats each golfer had before i deleted them. Whats wierd, is that all the golfer in the game are refreshed, and i do a file and folder search of each custom golfer and can get them all down to zero files found. |

Rob, I just ran a test. I deleted my created golfer, and then re-installed a copy (I have a copy of the original for backup purposes). I played a couple of holes and accumulated some stats (I checked to made sure the stats registered). I then deleted that golfer again, and re-installed the files once more. I checked the stats, and they were all cleared and reset to 0.
That's how it should work as you no doubt know. And the only files I had to delete/reinstall were the two files in the Career folder: one folder, and one plr file, both with same name I named my golfer. It's that simple, and if you're having issues, I don't know what the problem is. Maybe you could leave me the link to the Arnold Palmer download you use. I can download it and take a look at it, and see if I can figure what the issue is. |

| Rob, I just downloaded and installed the Arnold Palmer golfer created by Hyno Designs. He already has stats recorded on his file. It says he's played 458 holes or something. What happened is the person who created the file must have played a bunch of rounds with the character before saving and uploading it to this site. So those stats can't be deleted. Mystery solved I guess. |
