Changed what i thought was 30 yards to the actual 50 yards |
| |
Hi guys.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but looking at the tour results i see massive differences between the distances people are able to drive off the tee. I use the horizontal trueswing and my player is maxed out with attributes. Yet i am about 50 yards avg over the 4 rounds to short. Any tips or ways to increase my driving distance
Thanks Craig |

| What level are you playing? Do you use Power Shot? I know the types of clubs and shafts you use have an impact as well. Plus, everyone is 75% attribute online. |

Really? Im not sure about that. If that were the case, one would think EA would have included in-game info on which clubs do what, in the same way they do in their console version of the game. With the PC version, theres no mention of this in the game or manual. If you or anyone else has specific info on how equipment affects gameplay, I would really appreciate hearing about this. |

| Use the diiferent types of clubs and see the difference for yourself. I have also never seen a list of the differences, but they do produce different results. |

I am playing at novice level. I did not know there was a power shot (or at least with trueswing) I have made some equipment changes and notice smallish differences. Not sufficient for the kind of yardage i seem to be lacking. Is there a power shot in true swing, and if so, how.
thanks for the replies guys, much appreciatd |

For example i normally use the Calaway Fusion FT5 and get a about 290 meters down wind on calm settings.
With the EA diamond series i get 330m+ with same shaft and conditions, however this is offline play.
Online the EA diamond comes back to more or less the same as the Fusion |

yes clubs, shafts, balls make a difference also experiment with your mouse settings to get your tempo right - it will change with the type of shafts used
powershot is a shot selection, same as full, pitch, punch etc - select it from the click menu
this setup is one i've seen Nike CPR Extra Stiff Flex Shafts, King Cobra FP Irons, EA 1-Under Edition Wedges, King Cobra Speed LD F Driver, King Cobra Speed Pro Fairway Woods, Bridgestone B330-S
i use the same ball, slightly different clubs (all King Cobra), the shaft & your mouse tempo combination will produce different results |

Hey bangus...and anyone else
On several of the courses that are selected to play on/at the verious tournament sites. I'v seen my driver yardage in the icon in the lower right hand side drop from a normal 302 yards to 295 yards. Also the rest of my clubs drop a simalar amount, both on the tee and from the fairway. And i agree with the other fellows...try diffiernt shafts...balls and club heads there is some yardage diff
