By installing the stock courses and libraries from 07 into the 08 game? |

| BINGO! You have to own the 07 game in order to get those courses. EA has never released the courses for download and never will. |

Man, I gotta try this out. I've heard there are some sweet courses in earlier games too. I'd love to try them out one day in the future, and will eventually get all copies of TW so I can do so. That should give me enough courses to last the rest of my life because I have hard enough time finding time these days to play all the 08 courses I want to play pretty bad. Will get to all these wonder courses eventually, and I have started saving them to my Hard-drive since learning how to do this from TW caddie. Just need to organize them better in folders inside of folder to make it easier to know what I've played & not played yet, they can get kinda confusing/lost in only one folder with so many listed.......
I'm blessed enough to live that long, I can see it now. I'll be some 70-80 yr old man playing TW 08 while chilling at home cussing some hole for whipping my backside..... hehehe

tried your suggestion,08 caddie error sta file not a valid file,so here is how i did it ,this could be of help. (1) open my computer (2) open c drive (3) open program files (4) open ea sports folder (5) open tw 07 file folder (6) open courses file 7 open avi folder ( short for aviara golf club ) 8 open purple avi file, this started 08 caddie and installed the library 9 open green avi file this started the 08 caddie and installed the course file 10 closed all and went into game, checked through the course list, found the course but the logo and flags were missing, the game played just as any other 11 opend 08 caddie clicked on course and then opend properties 12 went back into step (7) clicked on course logo'08 caddie started to load, error message logo, dds is not a valid tw caddie file. 13 clicked on logo dropdown to open on course properties in 08 caddie 14 went back to the logo file right click ,chose copy , right click on logo dropdown to paste logo dds file, options are given which self explain the choices. went back into game, all was in place.you can then do this for all the courses, if there is a quicker way(save me)from myself lol.many thanks, found the forums very helpful on all topics, Alan B |
