| First of all I will say the online ratings don't mean anything to me, however, I do care about the game working properly. I've been playing TW2008 for quite a while and this has never happened to me before. Everytime I win an online game, my rating goes down. Ive won 4 in a row and have dropped 47 points. Any ideas of what might be going on ?? |

| I contacted EA with this question and they replied that they only answered technical questions and this was a gaming question. Anybody have any links to EA to ask gaming questions ? |

log onto EASO, click Help at bottom, scroll through to get to Ratings section
basically yours should go up if defeating an opponent - how much depends on their ranking vs yours |

Hey birdman1952
I saw that you set up a match in TW 08 useing
Tabacco Road...were did you get that course for
TW 08...I have it for 07...but can not find it
for 08...any info would be great THANKS

| Dawg8: You can download any of the 2007 custom courses just like you download the 08 custom courses. Just be sure to use your TW08 caddie so that the course will load into TW2008. |

winrar is compression software, it does not install course/library files
sounds like you mean one of the 2 modded installers from 07, jiggered to work in 08 |

| Tobacco Road 08 is in beta......... and it's vastly improved over the 07 version. Hopefully, Kevin will be releasing it, soon......... |

What im useing is...Tw08_CLSetup_CU.RAR-WinRAR (evaluation Copy)
I belive i got a copy of the CLSetup08...before the code was lost.
However is birdman1952 correct...can you use the TW08 caddie to
install TW07 courses an Lib's to TW08???

winrar is compression software (like winzip is compression software), it does not install course/library files, all it does is squish everything all up so it's smaller
the software inside the compressed archive is what does the installing
twcaddie doesn't care what year the course or library is - it installs into the 08 game
same way Course Utilities (EA software - came with game until 08) or CLSetup (designed by jorgen up to 08) works
- a different version of the software is needed for each TW version
- 06 for tw06, 07 for tw07 etc
so forget what year the course or library is - use the correct installer year for the TW verison
so yes - trwcaddie will install 07 courses into 08
btw - a lot of the libraries you already use were probably made prior to 08 |

That is great info...Tabacco Road 07 was/is one of the better looking and
playable course. It will be great to get it installed on 08...Now a problem
searching through all the 07 courses to install on 08...LOL
