Does anyone know how to get the computer players that are in the game to play better? I'm tired of playing against players that only drive a max. of 240yds. Some drives don't even get to the fairway.

People have created better CPU golfers for both stroke/match/skins games, and for PGA Tour mode. Click on the Utilities tab at the top of the page and check under TW 08 Custom Golfers and Miscellaneous.

Here is what I have done and it seems to work.

First: I did as suggested and downloaded most of the custom players under the "utilities" tab.
Second: Make sure you look at each player and check the "learning" option in their profile.
Third: Take some time and play several of the custom players and find a couple that play fairly decent rounds. (I.e. I use Ian Baker-Finch, Craig Stadler, and Kenny Perry)
Fourth: Make sure all of the custom players are computer controlled and have the learning option checked.
Fifth: Play a foursome of Four Ball Match Play.. Doing this puts one custom player on your team and the other team made up of two custom designed players.
Sixth: Keep the same teams together and play multiple rounds that way.

As you play, the custom design players should get better and start to play a competitive round. I have seen longer drives, and a lot of very good putts since trying this. It may be my imagination, but they do seem to get better as time passes. In fact, I have had a couple of rounds where we were A/S at the end of 18 holes and needed a playoff to decide which was the winning team.
