I was fortunate enough to attend my second PGA Tour event this year. The first being back in late April when I went to the final round of the Quail Hollow Championship in Charlotte. I went to the final round of the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro this past Sunday. Like before, I wanted to share with you all my "Outside The Ropes" pictures from the final round of the Wyndham Championship. I'll post picks in several different posts so I can get the majority of them on the board. Enjoy!

Sergio after teeing off on #2

Sergio putting on #2

Fred Couples on #7

Freddy walking to the 10th tee

Chez Reavie, Fred Couples and Wyndham Champ...Ryan Moore walking off 10th tee

Last but not least...after his disappointing even par 4th round, Sergio Garcia tosses his autographed TaylorMade glove into the crowd.

This is me, holding Sergio's autographed glove that a LUCKY kid got to take home!

I did have a great time...the coolest thing of the tourney was when I was standing just to the left of the 10th green I walked over to Feherty and the young guy that walks with him. The guy that walks with Feherty, for those who don't know, he is carrying a small monitor that you can actually see and hear the broadcast just like you would see and hear it at home. He let me watch on the monitor while I was standing right beside Feherty. They (CBS) were on another hole at the time and after about 30 seconds I heard Bill Macatee say..."Let's take it over to Dave Feherty, he's at 10, what do we have Dave"? Then he started his "Fehertyesque" color commentary as you always here him do about the putts that were waiting to be made. I stood there a listened to him as he called it on air for about 60 seconds. I know some may not be a fan of Feherty, but I like the guy, I always have. I saw him in Charlotte in late April. But, to be standing almost shoulder to shoulder while he was on air was pretty awesome. To think of the places (courses) he's been to, the tournaments and majors he's covered and the players he's got to interview and for me to be standing there hearing it like I was sitting at home was something I'll never forget. If you have never been to a PGA event that CBS covers, you need to go. Like I said back in May, it's worth EVERY dime!

At Firestone we weren't allowed to bring cameras or cell phones or anything... interesting that this tournament was different.

Bobby...the rules for this tourney were no different than any other PGA event. I did get my Blackberry in the tourney, I have my way of gettin' it by security, even though we didn't go through any metal detectors like I did in Charlotte. I got my Blackberry in the tourney in Charlotte, so I knew this would be a breeze. You can have cameras Monday-Wednesday, this was Sunday. Yes, I may have "broken" the tournament rules...but, I wouldn't have these awesome pictures for you all to enjoy if I didn't. I wasn't the only one snappin' pics...:0)
