Anybody have any ideas on why all of a sudden my grid lines are all solid both ways?
I did have the hash marks telling which way it broke, and how much, now solid both ways. As far a s I can tell, I didn't change anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, even tried a different DVD to see if mine was messed up., no difference.

Hi...
Yes very strange, you tried to change Screen resolution?
Start TW08...go to: Options....Video....screen resolution
Not sure it will help, but worth to try.

I would say you have enabled Anti Aliasing, either in the game or made it default on your video card.

Here is a screen shot, also, when I try to go back to the main menu, all I get is a black screen with the glove, I use the windows key, and then have to close. I can exit from the game ok

I think its a straight putt. I know I did the Anti-aliasing once on my video card screwing around and that's what happened to me also. I have an NVIDIA card. I changed this here, go to "control panel". "3D settings", "Adjust image settings with preview". Make sure there is a tick in the "Let the 3D application decide". If you have a different card look around for that setting.

Sometimes the greens are white because this file was changed: gradient.dds
The file (; gradient.dds ) is located in the folder: Game
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Game

See also link below about the white grid:

Good idea on the 3-D setting, but it didn't work either. I have a Nvidia 9600 video card

I assume when you say you adjusted the 3D settings, you mean here in the panel...

Thats right 512, I looked at yours and mine, same settings. It's got to be in the settings somewhere, and still can't go from the game back to the main menu, have to exit and then close from desktop

Nope, no difference, and I had grids checked. I have a copy of 07, I installed it and the grid lines show the hash marks. I have another copy of 08 that I installed, used my codes, still the same. I even installed it on another drive, no luck there either. I appreciate the help, just nothing working
