My laptop isnt the fastest in the world, so to make it run a bit quicker when Im not playing TW is it possible to store certain files (such as courses) on a separate hard drive rather than on the laptop, and have the HD connected when I want to play the game?

I'm aware that certain stuff has to be installed on the laptop for the game to work but I hope to add alot more courses which will no doubt eat up alot of space on my laptop and have it running like a dog!

Courses and Libraries can be stored on another drive. They do not have to be in the same location as the TW game. That being said, if you have courses and libraries currently installed where TW is installed, you will need to reinstall them on your other drive. You can't simply copy/paste them.

When you install courses or libraries, the installer writes data into the Windows registry that tells the TW game where those files can be found. That is why you can install them in another location. I used to have my files on an external USB drive and they worked just fine.
