After you guys (and gals) download the MyZip files for the custom courses and then install them using the Caddie, do you delete the Zip file, or must you save them in order to play the course? I mean, the Zip files aren't Read Only are they? I was just wondering because I do want to save the MyZip files, just in case something goes wrong with my machine and I have to reinstall them. But if I dont have to keep them on my hard drive to play the courses in the game, then I'm going to move the MyZip files to my external hard drive. Thanks for the info!

We Have a Winner!!!!
once installed they are not need unless you needed to reinstall a course or library
yes, id unzip them so you have the individual course and library files, then zip them again separately and save them to somewhere else on your HD, or to a CD or DVD (;leave the burning session open so you can add files after the first burn) or external HD you may not need to reinstall a course again unless you want to play it but libraries are used by different courses so youd need to find them separately
in previous years (;pre-Caddie) JSJ (;and me too) were constantly suggesting it seemed that people organize their files into Courses and Library folders when downloading, to make it easier to find when you needed them
No proof, but id be willing to bet good $$ that most people use once, throw away then download the same library files again and again IMO - thats just dumb
that jacks up the download bandwidth which costs money ... as witnessed by last weeks site outage
so yes - save them and store them where oyu need to |

I was wondering why I couldnt log onto the site the other day.
Anyway, yes I thought of doing it just like you had mentioned. I bought a 500GB external HD today, so I think I'll move all the MyZip files onto it, unzip the files so that I can easily access the libraries when I need them for designing purposes, and then organize all the unzipped files into their own respective course folders. Thanks!

| There is nothing cheaper that HD space. Save, time, save bandwidth, save those zip files. |
