| I see tournaments hosted for Turnberry in TW 2008 but can't find the course anywhere on the site. Any help? |

This question has already been answered yesterday, just 2 posts below this one.
Turnberry, as with all of the PGA events this year, has been created by the PGAX Design Team for use on THEIR TOUR FIRST! For many of the majors, the Team has graciously provided those courses for public download. An early release version of Turnberry was provided to another tour for use with THEIR event for the Open, not for public release. Apparently the link to that release was obtained by a few unwilling to wait for the public release. The PGAX team is still finalizing their version for their tour, but at this time because of this breech by a few within the community there is a lot of question as to whether they will be releasing this or any other courses outside of their tour.
The PGAX team works hard to provide these courses to all of us. The trust that they have put out there has been damaged due to the course leechers that have abused the early release from this other tour site. At this point, I do not know if Turnberry will be released here. |

| Thats too bad. I don't mind waiting for PGAX courses since they are some of the best. I appreciate the work that goes into them, no matter who builds them. I hope PGAX doesn't punish those like us for the actions of a few. IMHO |

I agree with Hacker. Seems to me the solution is to take access away from the ones that violated the trust and not punish the whole community here for the actions of a few. That being said, PGAX courses are always well done an I like playing them. I would play the PGAX tour, however I simply do not have the time to play multiple tours, so I usually wait for it to be released here. However, if PGAX team does not want to release it here, what are the chances of another of the talented designers doing it? I realize it would take time, but would probably be worth the wait.

a little difficult to do that
a private (;hosting site) link was posted on another Tour for their members
the link to that sites post was then posted here
no way to know who/how many did download it because of that
i think the message is clear - you do not have permission to re-post information without thinking :)
this wasnt a news story or otherwise public information
this was information/files meant solely for one Tour group, not the general public
all IMO of course |

| It wasn't the OP that stirred up any issues. It was another member in the other thread that took it upon himself to publish a link to download the course that was specially built for another tour by PGAX, that was lifted from the other tour forum which was not public information |

Sorry if have said anything or done anything wrong in asking about Turnberry.
I never saw the deleted post but I am taking it from this one that atm its a
no-go through a small minority.
I just wanted the chance to apologise if I started a post on a taboo issue atm
I would have replied on my own post but it is locked and this post was on the
same topic so guessing similar minded members would see this.
