I play TW 2008 online with several friends. We never use ready play as we like to see each others shots. Recently there has been a weird glitch going on. Someone will hit a shot and on all other players monitors it will show the shot hitting the green say left of the flag and ending up 20 feet from the pin, however on the person's monitor that hit the shot the ball will go in the hole. This happened yesterday 3 times. Once on a par 3 the ball was hit. I saw the ball land left of the hole and end up 15 feet away. The announcer even said, "Looks like this will find the left side of the green." Then to my surprise "Hole In One" started scrolling across the top of the screen and my friend said that on his monitor it went in the hole. Does anyone know what this is all about?

This is a glitch that has been around for ages. Another oversight by EASports. It will happen to you many times if you play online. Just the nature of the beast.

i guess the explanation that the game makes a best guess as to the outcome of gameplay while waiting for the server data to come in from all players doesn't cut it ?

darn EA - why don't they delay displaying each and every shot until all the data is in from 1-4 players anywhere around the world
