I looked through all the topics and did not see this ? Can you stop the scorecard from
showing after every hole? It stays up about 10 seconds on my mid-range laptop. The display
time is about the same on a 3.0 GHZ desktop with a Nivida 8800 GTS card. I understand the
game needs rendering time between holes to build the tee scenario but can I do anything
to make it display faster or eliminate it?

if the confidence folder fix doesn't do anything, then it's just that some courses take longer to render than others
stock EA courses should be fairly quick, 2-4 secs maybe
custom courses all depend on the course and your system
you could remove the scorecard completely - but that wouldn't decrease the load time
but there's no on/off switch for the scorecard display
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Game\ScoreCard
rename Scorecard folder to XScorecard, no more scorecard

| YUP my puter is pretty old 3 yrs I guess... i have a compac desktop 2.66 intel celeron processor with 0.99GB of ram Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 video. I have to keep my settings low as possible just to play with it being choppy. But it's all I can do right now so I'm living with it. Along with a bunch of my online friends wanting me to get a new computer. hehe |
