| My company just installed big brother on our laptops so that we can't surf the net and now i can't play online. For some reason it only blocked Internet Explorer. I can still use Firefox and view any site i want. However, when trying to play TW online, it will not let me connect due to the big brother program. Does anyone know a way around this problem? Can EASO connect thru Firefox in lieu of IE (if that makes any sense)? Thanks! |

| actually it's not their laptop. it's mine. they supposedly put the blocker on their server so that we can't surf at work, which is fine. But, i should be able to do what i want at home with my own laptop. i'd go to the IT dept with it but i'm afraid i'll lose the Firefox access too. lol |

if its only their server that blocks access then you have a problem with your laptop settings if you cant connect from other locations
what you said in the first post was there was something installed on the laptop, not the server
and while there may be ways to bypass the work access, theres also a risk of disciplinary action if you get caught doing it while at work |

you're right. i did misspeak in my first post and i think your right about there being a problem with my laptop settings but i don't know where to look to fix this problem. any suggestions would be much appreciated.
