| I could have missed some but of 662 courses i could only find 2 5star rated courses with all the designers we have? i find that hard to believe, i say there is about one masterpiece of most designers on my hardrive |

| While I can partially understand why people look at ratings at first, they are a very subjective measure of a course's worth and these type of voting systems can be easily manipulated (as has been seen recently). I have a select group of architects that I will always download and play. While I like those architects and their work, others may be looking for something else when they play TW. Neither is right or wrong. That is why I have told people for a long time not to use the ratings. Download a few courses and see which archs make courses you like. Look at the comments and see what others are taking the time to express in writing, not just via an anonymous vote. Then play the ones you like and don't play the others. |
