May I suggest a 1997 or later Chevrolet Corvette. One of the main design parameters for the C5 was that the trunk (bonnet) must be able to hold a set of golf clubs.

There are several trim levels to choose from, the top being this year's ZR1 which boasts 620 horsepower. Pictured below is the 2010 Grand Sport Edition.
