I have lost asbout 1/3 of the default golfers in the game, Ihave un=installed and reinstalled the game and still no luck,they be gone!!!! Any way to get them back that does not require a degree in pc science. Any help would be helpful!

delete this folder
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME HERE\My Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08

start the game, it will be recreated with all default TW golfers
note: you will lose all your custom golfers

or
rename the above folder, ie right click on folder, select rename, change it to
\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08X

then start game again to recreate default folder and golfers

and copy back from old to new any custom golfers
look for custom golfer name in
\Ability (.hal and .cal files)
\Career\Players - playername folder, and playername.plr
