EXPERT IS VERY HARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness, I tried expert just for fun last night, and it's very very hard to play. I couldn't even hit the ball straight to save my life, and I just couldn't do anything else, but laugh at myself going all over the pace trying to get to the green. I don't how players even get par on the tour playing it. Much much much more practice for me before I can even think about playing expert level. Knowing my club distance is the easy part, but hitting the ball good is a whole other story. It's my goal to one day to play on the PGAX tour, but if I played it now. I would most likely score above 120 every time or even worse each week............. :O

Do you have to hit all green letters every time to hit the ball straight in expert mode?
I have a natural draw, and before I get bad habits. I would like to fix it now before it gets to bad. I rarely get all green letters in my true-swing meter, but I'm starting to be able to shape my shots sometimes on purpose when practicing. It amazes me that in this game you can start getting weird motions in your swing just like in a real life golf swing. Like if I turn my wrist the wrong way, it will just get plain ugly when hitting the ball off the tee. When I first started playing real golf. My natural swing was pretty good, and when I started trying to do things after getting tips from others, magazines, or TV. That when things went wrong with my swing after I thought about stuff when swinging instead of just doing my natural swing.

Much respect for anyone that plays expert level from me.
Plus, to me after playing both 3-click & true-swing now. This game just seems more realistic playing true-swing, and I can't do certain things playing 3-click like I can playing true-swing, but I'm new to this game. So I might be wrong, but after doing both now. It's two total different games when playing from 3-click to true-swing for me. I'm sure everyone has the own preference, and that's all cool with me. Plus, I bet 3-click makes it much easier for anyone who has a hard time moving their arms because of injury or something like this......

No, but you have to be close. I always hit a slight draw and the club speed is faster. Honestly, the most important part is the tempo. Everything comes from there.

I would strongly recommend you just take the plunge and play the PGAX tour now if that is your goal. I started about 18 mths ago and had never played expert before. I was shooting +60s every round but over time, because we play 4 rounds every week plus a great number of us get together and practice a lot, I am now playing to around scratch to +4.

We have a very fair HCP system so even if you shoot high, your hcp will be appropriate to your level of play as it is based on your potential. Once you have put in around 20 rds, you will see your hcp level out allowing you to focus more on the finer details and to improve your game.

There is absolutely no shame playing the PGAX Tour as a beginner at expert level I assure you. Just come on over and we will help you....all of our players are always willing to offer help and assistance no matter what level you are.

Hope we see you soon

what Zee said. Bear in mind, very small fades and draws will not show up in the TS Analyzer, but they WILL effect ball flight.......

OK
I just might do that, and it sure does act much more like real golf with hitting severe slices & draws under expert. I shot scores of 80s -90s in real life golf when I used to play all the time, and I like it when the scores show more true like real game scores in TW. When I was playing novice/3 click shooting 60s almost every round kinda got boring somewhat with not much danger to worry about before hitting the ball. I just started true-swing not long ago, and I was just terrible playing intermediate/TS at first, but now Im improving my game after much practice. Im sure it takes much longer in expert with fine tuning your game, but I like that. The more like real life golf this game is the more Im into thinking Im playing real golf out there.........

I already joined the PGAX site in the forums, and will go over there to see how you join the PGAX tour. This tour, Clam tour, and PGAX tour should full the void of not playing real golf these days, but Im going to really shot some bad golf under expert. Well, since I will going all over the course in expert at least Ill see stuff I would usually miss on these cool courses . It should be interesting playing expert.....:P

Thanks

Couple question to make sure I do this right............

I just play the Q-school in the Australian room of the EASO Tournament Lobby with my EASO player, and I dont have to register again to play on the PGAX tour?
Is so, I just wait after playing Q-school to see if I get my PGAX tour card?

Sorry for all the questions, and this might be simple stuff, but Im new to all this online computer stuff.

Thanks

The questions are much easier to answer over there, but everyone gets the tour card. We just use the QSchool for starting the hdcp, sort of like clammies and here.
