Okay.... Last night I encountered some strange behaviour from TW 08...

I started the game as I always do by clicking my desktop shortcut, I went to my calender on the pga tour events, selected an event and clicked tee off... My pc CRASHED...!!! It did not want to restart normally nor in safe mode...
It kept on repairing itself with a blue start up screen checking file and clusters etc, etc...

Eventually just before I wanted to do a windows repair from my XP Professional CD it restarted perfectly... I then entered the game again and wanted to proceed with my event... I could not find my created player anywhere in game... When I clicked on the pga tour calendar the game just closed and I was right back on the desktop where I started...

My created golfer is definitely in the my documents folder for TW 08 career/players and ability folders....!

Can anyone please tell me what the hell happened....??? i'm at a loss for words...!

please, any help will gladly be appreciated...

could be that one or some of the files got corrupted during the multiple restarts and chkdsk procedures.

what player loads as default when you first go into the game?.
If your created player was the default and it goes missing the game usually defaults back to Tiger woods.

Odd that you mentioned your player being deleted. Yesterday 5 AM I went to EA Sports and my player had been deleted it defaulted to Tiger I had to re-create my profile
