The game will not allow me to play any calendar event...!
I can access the calendar under PGA tour mode, when it opens the date in the top left corner on the calender reads February 2011...??? I can see when i date back the completed events in pga tour calendar but as soon as i want to continue playing a new scheduled pga event in the calendar the error that TW08 can't launch the specified course appears...! When I click on fedex cup game mode the screens just turns black and nothing happens...! I have tried so many things, none whatsoever has worked... Do you perhaps know which file stores the history of TW07 pga tour...? maybe if I delete that history...? how do I keep my attributes and in which file is all of that to be found...?

| You mention both TW 08 and TW 07 in your first post. Which game are you playing? Tour Mode files are located in your player's folder, the one that's created along with the plr file when you first create your player. I know that because I copied my newly created player before starting Tour Mode, and if I want to restart Tour Mode, I simply delete the old folder and plr file, and paste in new copies. |

Hi Bangus,
I'm currently playing TW 08. I do not experience any problem with TW 07.
The only problem I have with TW 08 is to access the PGA tour and Fedex Cup
game modes. I don't play online at all, so all games played are in offline mode.
Am I correct in saying that you're telling me to delete my current profile
and all files associated with it from the My Documents/TW08/Career/Players
folder and then create a new player... With this new player I should then
access the PGA Tour mode, which I would be able to do, play one hole or round
from the PGA Tour calendar and then exit the game...
Go back to My Documents/TW08/Career/Players to copy and paste my TW 07 player
file into the folder to overwrite the newly created player profile...? |

| Mnumzane, I'm not clear what it is you want to do. You asked where the Tour Mode files were located, but I have no idea what you need to do to fix the problem you are having. It sounds to me like your player files are corrupted, in which case creating a new player is probably the way to go. If you do that, keep in mind your player's Game Face features (eyes, nose, chin, etc) all have numerical values. If you jot those numbers down before deleting your current player, then recreating a new player only takes a few minutes. |

Thank you for patiently reading my post and replying promptly with your input.
I'm only trying to find a work around method of creating (Keeping) my old TW07 character
and not losing my attributes I worked so hard for playing round after round... but it seems
that there is no way in order to do this. You are possibly right by saying that one of my files could be corrupted. I have really battled long enough with this issue...!
I will instead just create a new player, by doing this it will most definitely save me endless headaches...
