We had our electricity go out on us today, while my neighbor was playing. When power was restored, I reopened the game. It did the usual "your game session ended abnormally..." message. I chose yes, return to game.
Since my neighbor had long since gone home, I used the option of "return to main menu" once his game had reloaded. Now his character doesn't show up in the players listing, but the files are still in the proper folders on my computer.
Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this issue? |

Check his .plr file size in players directory, if it is zero bits, you will have to load a
saved .plr file or make a new player file in TW08.

| I know it's not what you want to hear but it's entirely possible the player is indeed gone. That's happened to me in a prior year's version and because it was during a round, the player (and the file) just went poof. Good luck. I hope that's not the case for you. Was a real pain getting all the attributes back up to where they were. Almost made me not want to bother. |

Ok, got the player back, minus some $40,000,000. By mistake I had a copy of the tw folder that was supposed to be in ....\my docs\, from the last time i had problems. But at least he's back!
