When I go to slide my pic into the splash template, it is only allowing me to move a small portion of the pic around.

I used to be able to move the entire pic into the template.

Any help would be nice..

Hiya Axe....

I do it this way:
I open the splash template and the pic.
(first i resized my pic, so it is a bit bigger compared with the splash )
After that i select the splash screen...and drag it into my pic.
i hit: CTRL+C (copy).......after that i select the splash screen....and hit: CTRL+V (paste).

make sure you're working with the pic layer
not the template layer

when you paste an image in, a new layer is created automatically

look on the layer menu, usually bottom right, select the one to work with

with the rectangle marquee tool selected, right click and choose : free transform
that will 'box' the image you're working with, allowing you to move it

on the top menu bar, you'll also see a H and W box, at 100%
with a 'chain lock' icon between
click on the icon to 'lock' the perspective, then when you resize to 50%, both H and W will change at same time
