I've tried to find some information by reading a few forums online... but was looking for some advice.
I play on expert mode and only have time for one online tour and was wondering what is the best one to join?
Priorities for me would be ones that have a good handicapping system, reasonably realistic scores and doesn't rely too heavily on custom courses week in week out.
PGAX seems a good choice for expert and closeness to the real tour... but I've heard they aren't the best at realistic handicapping?
I know it's all subjective, but I'm just getting a cross section of opinion before choosing one and going with it as I dont have the time to try out three or four.
Thanks in advance |

i would disagree, PGAX uses the usga handicapping system and it is very good, if i was to play just one tour a week it would be PGAX, mainly because there is a new course each week that mirrors the US Tour, and it is very well run with all the staff available for any help you need, Pgax will only ever use Very Dry greens so be aware of this when joining/playing.
however all the tours are good to play on and all very well run, it just depends on your own personal preference i guess, |

Maybe I heard wrong then... it wouldn't be the first time! :P
Im rather poor at very dry greens, but I'm not afraid of a challenge, and that's probably the most realistic setting based on tv golf.
Do they follow the PGA tour week to week exactly? I noticed on their website they have two tourneys running at the moment... is that for two skill levels?
I might give it a try - I assume they would give me a handicap after a few test tournaments or something to prove my level. |

| PGAX Has the two US PGA Events running currently, the WGC CA Championship on Doral for the top 32 players on the tour and the Puerto Rico Open @ Trump International for the remainder of the tour. We do follow the US PGA Tour almost to a T. We create each course needed and at the most miss one or two only suring the season and have to substitute an alternate. |
