I just got a new computer with windows Vista operating system. I loaded TW 08 and when I finish a hole and go to the scorecard.. it then jumps to the desktop with a black square in the upper left hand corner of the screen (about 1/2 of the screen). I then get a message in the lower right hand corner that reads.."Display Driver has stopped responding and has recovered. Display Driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered".

My system is a HP 612 with a Vista operating system. Intel pentium 2.20 GHz with 4 Gigs of Ram. This is a 64 bit system. I have an Intel graphics media accelerator 3100.

Can anyone please help me. Hop

the problem is your Intel graphics media accelerator 3100,its not a video card,its a video chip on the motherboard,you could look for a driver update but you realy need a modern video card to play most games.

Carnoustie TW.. Thank you very much for your answer.. I did go to Best Buy last night and spoke to a "Geek" (as they call themselves) and he told me the same thing. I did get a graphic card and also had to get a new power supply box. Now the game seems to run quite well. But I now have a new problem. I should really post it in a more appropriate place. Or at least try a new subject.. When I try to load a new course from Course Downloads via TW caddie I get a message that says that Tiger Woods 08 is not correctly installed. I have re-installed the game 3 times and when I try to introduce a new game I get the same error message.
